So, yesterday my 2 oldest kids brought home their report cards.

14 year old son,
1 A, 4 B's and 1 C
I AM SO PROUD OF HIM! (He always has struggled through school)

13 year old daughter,
3 B's and 3 C's
A little unhappy with her, because she's always had straight A's.

What did your children's report card look like?

  • My 5 yo doesn't get grades yet, but his report card showed that he is on target and behaving nicely at school. I'm very happy with that.

My 6th grader got all A's. She and I were both happy with that. Though Math was a very low “A”.

  • I don't actually care about report cards and choose a school for my child that does not give them. Plus, what is wrong with C's? C is average. Nothing wrong with being average. I'm very educated and so is my husband. Education is important to us...learning is important to us...not the way a school decides to grade or test my child.
