At what age did your little baby start to smile?

In my baby books it says 4-6 weeks I think. But I've heard loads of different stories from my family, so what time did your baby start? Thanks, just being inquisitive I guess.

  • Mine would have little gas smiles since birth, but he started really smiling around 3 weeks.

  • My son first smiled at 7 days. He smiled everytime my husband kissed him. So it wasn't just gas!

  • i have been waiting on my son to smile - i saw little gas grins at 4 weeks or so and hes just now smiling when hes happy and thinks im funny at 9 weeks!
