Question about cooking italian sausage!!!

Lol, Im probably going to sound like a fool asking this, but this is my first time cooking italian sausage.. Do you remove the casing before or after you cook it? And do you add water to the pan so the sausage doesnt burn? Help? Thanks!

  • If you are making it and want to keep the link shape, you can leave the casing on. If you want to make it like ground beef, remove the casings and it will break up as you cook it. If you leave the casings on and leave it as links then a little water might be necessary.
