dry skin

I have a 6 and a 7 year old they both have dry skin,especially my 7 year old what would you recommend for it the pink baby lotion or aveno?

  • Are they drinking enough water? Coconut oil is a great, safe moisturizer.

  • i agree with rkoloms.
    are they getting enough water?
    are there humidifiers in their rooms?
    have you tried fish oil, flax seed oil?
    you could use coconut oil, shea butter or any other 100 pure lotion or oil.

  • What does the dermatologist tell you? Aveeno and St. Ives are the best moisturizing lotions that I've ever used.

  • We use coconut oil when DD's skin gets dry. Rub it on with a soft cloth after a bath. Also, I try to keep the water in the baths from being more than warm; if the water is too hot DD's skin gets very very dry and her eczema flares.
