What types of foods might help with sugar cravings?
Maybe certain types of drinks with sugar cravings?
What about herbal supplements?
I assuming you mean the sugar cravings that are common with PMS. One thing I've heard that can help, although I haven't tried it, is taking a daily supplement of magnesium (either 300 or 500 mg). B-complex vitamins can help too.
Eat a diet rich in complex carbohydrates such as fruits, veggies and grains to keep your system balanced and healthy, this way you won't crave sugar as much. If you really feel that you have to eat something sweet, opt for a piece of fruit instead. Be sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water too. I wish you all the best. :)
