Dark circles under eyes

My son has always had circles/bags under his eyes. Today though they are abnormally darker. They look really bad. Why would this be?

What causes dark circles/bags under the eyes of a 2yr old?

  • Allergies. They call them 'allergic shiners', and they are super common. My guy has them. Loratadine and Veramyst seems to be clearing them up.

  • Milk (dairy) and soy have all be eliminated for a couple months now (and we're eliminated for a year prior to these last 2 months, we did a trial).

  • Two of my children have those too. They are usually caused by allergies. Mention it to the doctor. I hope you can figure out all he is allergic to.
