Tons of Bacon

Well not really tons but quite a bit of bacon, what are some things that you would do with it? I would like to use it as a main dish but am at a loss.

  • I can't' think of any ways to use bacon as a main dish, really, except for spinach pizza. Cook up the bacon till crisp and crumble it on the ricotta cheese/ spinach mixture. And bake. Yummy!
    Other uses:
    crumble and use on salads
    baked potato bar topping
throw in potato soup. Very delicious
use as seasoning for green beans.

  • Bacon is wonderful cooked on top of chicken breasts in the oven, wrapped around beef, or wrapped around scallops and pan fried. Bacon also freezes really well!

  • Ingredients
    1 pound bacon
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1 cup sour cream
1 tomato - peeled, seeded and diced
1.Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain on paper towels.
2.In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise and sour cream. Crumble bacon into the sour cream and mayonnaise mixture. Mix in tomatoes just before serving.

It is soooooo good! Serve with club (?) crackers. I so want some.

  • All my ideas are on here. When I add it to green beans I pour it over the beans. I also cook onions and mushrooms and mix it all together.
