CNN poll released yesterday says GOP has 8 point lead

Hmm....very interesting little article. Funny how none of the lovers of CNN posted this. Does this really surprise any of the Conservatives?

  • I just hope Republicans/Independents/Conservatives don;t think it's in the bag and DON'T vote!! That's part of what happened in 2008.

  • Yeah, the Reps might do very well in this election. Even if they do I doubt much will change. They were spending like drunken teens with daddys credit card before Obama and I haven't seen any evidence(not campaign promises, evidence) that they will be any different.

  • I'm sure plenty said the same about Clinton. I know I was shocked that Dubya was reelected. A lot can happen in 2 years, hell a lot can happen in the next 10 days.

  • Assume much? This was about Reps taking back Congress. I have made my displeasure with Obama's spending, and some of his other actions, quite clear in the last 2 years.

  • I would think it would be more than 8.

Politics is cyclical, Reagan had the same issue and the same approval ratings at this point

  • And, of course, Obama hasn't been spending like a kid whose parents are on vacation. NO! The anointed one hasn't done anything to bring this on!

  • Ok, fair enough. You're right, that's what this is about, not him. Although, I do feel that this election will be the beginning of him not getting a 2nd term. I honestly can't see him being re-elected for any reason.

  • Well, I guess all we can do at this point is wait and see. DH and I voted yesterday. I knew I didn't want to wait till the 2nd. I'm not too keen on long lines. LOL.
