Why is my baby's spit up look like cottage cheese?

is this normal? he threw up last night about a spoonfull and it looked like cottage cheese and he just projectile spit up on my leg (on my favorite giraffe sweatpants btw) and it looked the same? is he sick ?

  • my baby has cottage cheese too. it just happens when she gets too full and her formula is partly digested. i use enfamil ar for spit up, and its already broken down for her to eat, and it reforms in her tummy. the only problem is since its broken down so much, she over eats.

  • It's curdled breastmilk or formula (don't know which you feed). It's fine, unless it becomes more in amount or frequency - then it could be a bit of a bug but if baby's fine it's fine.
