In a large bowl mix dry ingredients...
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Add to dry ingredients:
1 can (15 oz) solid-pack pure pumpkin
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
Mix well and pour into ungreased 9 x 13 pan.
Sprinkle one box yellow cake mix evenly on top.
Drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter (1 stick) evenly over the cake mix.
Sprinkle top with 1 cup chopped pecans.
Bake for a little over an hour at 350 degrees until top is set and bottom has texture of pumpkin pie.
Cool completely. Cut into squares. Enjoy!
