  • Don't' be afraid to use your own handwriting for at least some of the journaling. In years to come family members may want to see your handwriting and remember that part as well. And it doesn't have to be perfect.

  • Make a page that pleases you. Don't worry about other peoples opinion or ideas on how to make it better.

  • Let the kids get involved. My Sunday School class loved making pages for my husband's first year as pastor scrapbook. i let them do whatever they wanted and they loved it.
