  • I started at 4 weeks. Wasn't very happy about it!
Have you looked into an IUD? You don't have to wait for your period to return to get one.

  • are you breast feeding? when i breast fed I didnt have a period for 6 months after birth.. ( i had to put on formula due to my medical condition requiring me to take all kinds of pills)
depends on the situation of course. hopefully some others can give you a ball park figure , but remember everyone is different.

  • You can go on b/cat 6 weeks usually! If you are B/F then you hae to take the mini-pill. If not you can start B/C whenever.
I b/f for 11 months and didnt get my period for 13 months.

  • I started 5 weeks after I had her, which was about 2.5 weeks after the regular post partum bleeding had stopped. I was breastfeeding exclusively, too, so it was kind of a shock.

  • I breastfed, and had my first period eight weeks after my daughter was born.
Why don't you get fitted for a diaphragm?

  • I Bf and had my period around 3 months or so. You could always try an IUD. I have the mirena in right now and love it. Low dose hormone, no periods, stays in for 5 years or if you want it out sooner.

  • I never got one between my oldest two, and I was 5 months PP when I got pregnant again...
I was around 6 or 7 months PP when I got it back after my second baby.
