At what age did your child learn your phone #?

I'm curious because my 6 and 7 year old niece and nephew still do not know their phone number. Not even the area code. I knew my phone number before I entered kindergarten, so to me that seems a bit strange, but maybe this is the norm nowadays?

  • Between 3 and 4 is when I taught both of my kids our phone number. Not that I ever plan on losing them, but if I did, I wanted them to be able to tell someone how to get ahold of us.
