If your kids were always sick from going would you stop taking them?

  • No, we just started this year in August and he's been sniffly a lot but we are urging hand washing & trying to get him to understand about germs and the school actually has a good policy in place (no fever or yellow or green drippy nose) and at the first sign of illness the parents are called immediately and the child kept separate from the group. I do wonder about how often they clean the room/toys though.

  • Nope. Its their education. I know health should come first, but honestly, I would probably just look at another school that has strict rules about allowing sick children to attend.

  • No, they need to build up immunities to common illnesses. It is better in preschool than when they start Kindergarten.

  • Yep but I homeschool for preschool anyways so my opinion does not really count. I am antipreschool.

  • I just started taking them for socialization only as I am there with them its a preschool program they went twice & now are really, really sick.

  • preschool here where i live is at a regular school. so we dont just go every once in a while they go everyday as the other children go too
