Is it safe for kids to drink cranberry juice?

I know cranberry juice is good for adults to drink with uti's,I've read children can drink it for that reason but I'm wondering how much they can drink and maybe when the cranberry juice kills the bad bacteria it could possibly kill the good?

  • It's perfectly safe. My daughter likes it regularly.

  • If you aren't comfortable with the idea of straight cranberry juice - something I've been drinking every day for as long as I can remember (3,4,5 yrs old and still do) - cut it with water.

  • Why wouldn't it be? It's not any worse than orange juice or apple juice. Just make sure it's 100% juice, not the ocean spray drinks or anything.
