  • I've only given blood once. I wanted to go every 8 weeks, but ended up pregnant lol. As soon as I feel like it would be safe and not affect my milk supply I will probably be going back and giving more :)

Thank you for doing that, mamma! That's wonderful :)

  • I give platelets every two weeks :) It takes 3 hours but I can save 3 lives in the three hours...every two weeks. How many lives is that during a year? Way to go, I am always happy when I hear somebody else is a blood donor.

  • I haven't been able to give blood yet :( There's always something that prevents it, every time there's a blood drive, because I never know about it far enough in advance (usually, there might be a sign posted a few days before the drive). Today, I didn't really do anything. I slept like crap last night, so I felt like crap most of the day. Plus my depression is back in full force, so the only good thing I did today was push the suicidal thoughts out of my head.

  • I've given blood twice. I've tried doing it 3 or 4 times since then but they always reject me because I don't weigh enough. I don't get it.
I didn't do anything really special today. Gave a ride to a friend with no vehicle to see his child. And I visited with a pregnant friend whose dh died about a month ago.
