What do you think caused your heterosexuality? Is it genetic, environmental, or a choice?

  • Hardly anyone is totally hetero. On a scale of 1 being totally straight, and 10 being totally homosexual, most folks fall along the line of a 3 or 4.
Sexuality is fluid, not set in stone, which makes me believe that nature plays the biggest role with enviroment nudging you in either direction.

  • wow great question! It really puts a perspective on the ever controversial question of being gay!!!! I was born that is all...why am I the sexual being I am? It is what I felt I was drawn to internally, what I was comfortable with internally, and what makes ME happy! =)

  • No clue. Maybe a combination of everything? I just know that I find men attractive and that's part of me, but not ALL of who/what I am. I wouldn't want someone to rush to assumptions of what heterosexuality means about my character, and therefore I try not to judge other people for one "one small part of their being".

  • LOL the ones who say they "choose" to be straight don't realize that what they stated follows along the lines of bisexual.
