Do you have any creative decorating ideas for my wedding?

It's going to be outside. We plan on doing a camping weekend, so its fun for everyone. It's not redneck, its actually more of a pagan ceremony. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you!

  • A trellis surrounded by white pearl balloons looks really nice, and instead of rice being thrown at you as you leave try some bubbles on for size!

  • We had bubbles....they made the most beautiful pix. Outside, could you hang sheer fabric in the trees for seperators if needed?

  • We released doves. It was fantastic.

  • Our ceremony was outside and we used the trellis that was there and used white tulle and blue ribbons and flowers to decorate it. We did a unity sand ceremony. It's like the unity candle, but you use different colors of sand and combine them. We did it with just him and me, there are others that can involve family members.

Our reception was inside...again we used white tulle and white Christmas lights hung from the ceiling, and my florist decorated the tables with square mirrors, candles, floating candles in a candy dish, and little flowers and ferns.

  • Hmm...I like the idea of hanging sheer fabric from the trees as kind of "separators"....nice effect. How about planting a tree? Great Pagan symbolism right there...just make sure you have permission to do so from the land owners.
