  • Our budget is $100 each, they are 12 & 10. Nieces & nephew are $30.
Honestly, even if I wasn't out of work, we'd still stick to this. They don't NEED anything.... and the wants need to be reasonable.

  • The kids budget is $250 each, they are 2.5, 11, 13, 13 and 15. We don't even get close with the baby, but we don't go over for any of the kids. For gifts for friends or colleagues, usually $25. We don't set a budget for each other.

  • We just do what we can for the kids. We do not get anything for one another.

  • I'll likely spend between $200 and $250 on each of my kids ages 3, 3, and 14.  I aim more for equality in the quantity of gifts than in the amount spent, so the little ones gifts usually end up costing less.

  • i don't budget really...i start early and usually buy one person or couple a gift every week beginning around thanksgiving...but i start really early with my sons shopping. I guess i try not to spend over $20 a child and if i'm buying for couples i try not to go over $30...single adult gift $15...parents and grandparent gifts vary year to year..sometimes i may spend $15 sometimes i may spend $100. I usually spend around $50 bucks on dh
