Vegetable that goes with chicken (which has teriyaki on it)?

What vegetable do you think would go good with chicken that has Teriyaki Sauce on it? Actually it will have Dijon Mustard on it too. I was thinking about green beans but didn't know (since I'm not a chef) if that would be weird or not. Just asking for opinions. =)

  • What really goes good with teriyaki chicken is stir fried veggies with teriyaki sause, like broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, zuccinni, green onions, bean sprouts and red and orange bell peppers. I make homemade stir fry and it's so yummy! :)

But seeing your asking for just a side...lol I agree with motherofpearls ^_^

  • any vegetable would be good....I would steam or stirfry with little seasoning since the teryaki chicken will be strong flavored, and if you haven't thought of it already, I'd consider plain white rice...
