how do u decide what art ur kids create to keep?

my 5 yr old dd is always drawing or coloring something. how do i decide what to keep?

  • If its something from school that I can tell the teacher did most of the work...toss.

    If its a "fun" paper, nothing extrordinary....toss.

    If its unusually good or sentential in some way...keep.

    If it shows a great amount of work on their part....keep.

  • This is funny....I am new here and was thinking of what questions to ask and I was going to ask the same question!
    I have a son in kindergarten and he is always coming home with new art work....I just do not know what to keep.
    I was thinking of getting a folder and putting his works of art in the folder and writing the date on the folder like "fall '10"
    spring '11
    that kind of thing...that way it stores the pics and is dated

  • i keep the hand prints... and special things, toss the daily school work, and take picture of the semi special things, but dont want to store!.... I have a storage system for the twins stuff... and they are avon boxes with their names and grades!

  • i would keep it for a few days and then put it away, if they ask where it is then id keep it
