Does going off facebook make people think you are snobby? I told three of my friends

and they seemed disappointed. I am so sick of seeing what my immediate family posts and also to see stuff that people put up as pics, it is really such a turnoff sometimes.Do you think it is ok to go off facebook?

  • Why are you telling people? Just don't log back in.
What are they going to do?
"I haven't seen you on FB in ages"
"Yeah, I just haven't had the time lately."
    No big deal.

  • Honestly, I think telling people you are leaving FB and making a big deal out of it is drama-seeking, it forces people to say, "oh please don't go!!" It's fine if you want leave FB, but just fade away, don't make an annoucement. If someone mentions that you haven't been on in a while, just tell them you've just been too busy.

  • Yea, I just wouldn't log onto it anymore. I don't see the need ro tell anyone. A lot of people have facebooks and don't post anything.
