  • Basically good food. Fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, less processed foods, that sort of thing. Also prenatal vitamins are a good idea; ideally we would get all the nutrition we need from our food but that is hard to do, and the vitamins can help fill in the gaps. www.mypyramid.gov has information that can give you an idea of what foods are best during pregnancy; generally the richer and more vibrant they are in color, the better they are for you.

  • It's really just good nutrition. eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, healthy whole grains, avoid things with chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, and things that your doctor says are risky to eat. Junk food is junk for you and for your baby so eat clean wholesome foods!!

    Good luck!
