  • just take a deep breath and remember that kids are kids, he'll say no, but YOU are the boss.

  • take and deep breathe and count to ten. how old is he? just take him to his room, and everytime he comes out, take him back. if he is suppose to take the medicin (sp) then let him know that if he doesnt take the medicin then he cant have dessert orcandy or whatever it is that he likes. gl.

  • For bedtime you might want to try the Supernanny technique that is similar to what is mentioned above. Go through your regular bedtime routine. Tell the child it is time for bed and that you will sit near the door. Then sit on the floor near the door with your back to the child. If he gets up simply put him back in bed. No talking. You might have to do it over and over. Stay calm and do not talk. If you do not sit in the room you can still do the same thing. Every time he comes out take him back. No talking and stay calm. GL!

  • he's a kid... relax... pick your battles, and set up a routine so there is no chance for him to tell you no...

  • i taught my son at a young age to say "mommys the boss" so when he tells me "no" i ask "who's the boss" he goes "mommy" so i tell him "as your boss you do what i say" i know probably sounds weird but its a method that i use and works

  • I don't understand the first part of the question, when he makes noise? However, as far as medicine goes...maybe you can pretend to be an airplane to make it go in?

  • You're the adult. Even if the kid says no- that doesn't make it no. If you are getting too upset about the behaviour, remove yourself from the situation till you can calm down.
