  • It sounds like an infection. If you can't afford a doctor's visit, try tea tree oil. You can find it at a local drug store. Make sure that it is 100% tea tree oil, though. Tea tree oil is a very gentle and all-natural antibiotic (fights bacteria). If the infection progresses to an abscess and gets into your blood stream, you will HAVE to visit a doctor.

  • one, it could be a small staph infection which would require a antibiotic, two it could be a cut of some sort in the belly button area that due to the moist conditions has become infected and keeping it dry and some antibiotic oinment applied after bathing should clear it up, or three a yeast infection in the navel that some antifigual cream will clear up in a couple of days. hope this helps. and fyi if it worses and drainage becomes extremely foul see you doctor right away....

  • Try using alcohol or peroxide to clean it, make sure to keep it dry and then if it is still having this discharge in a couple days, go to the doctor. If it lasts more than a couple days it is likely a fungal or bacterial infection.

  • Redness, swelling, itching, foul odor, and discharge are all signs of an infection. Go to the doctor.
