No invitations. How bad am i?

My dd bday party is this Saturday... Our invites where being made by bil. but we kept forgetting to give him party info/pic of dd for invite..
Soo... because of us it looks like there will be no invites sent out. I feel bad! She is turning 4. Her bday party is mainly family members & a few family friends we will call/ already know the info..

So how bad am I!! Cant believe Ive let the last month just slide by!

  • If it's close friends and family, why do you need fancy invitations?

  • So long as you celebrate within your own family unit it's acknowledged her birthday. You can call but really don’t expect them to come on such late notice because previous engagement of Halloween events with their own families. Just have fun.

  • As long as you call people and invite them you should be ok. Don't go into a long explanation, but do say something like, we had a problem getting the invitations so I'm calling.

  • Personally I think you need to STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP!

Sometimes LIFE HAPPENS! She is a little girl.. She will have a great time with family and friends... AND PROBABLY WON'T THINK ANYTHING ABOUT IT..

BTW... TELL HER HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM CAFEMOM FRIENDS... LOL!

  • I wouldn't worry too much about it....it's no big sin....if it's important to you, just plan on doing better next time and then be determined to follow through....have fun with your daughter on her birthday!
