Is this a good start? Just enough for now? Or not quite enough?

  • I think it's very telling. I see a lot of things done in the "name of God" that make me shudder... but if you've ever read all of the Chronicles of Narnia..(not just the first) C.S Lewis explains this phenomenon better than I can. The "devil" is symbolized by Tash, the god of the Calormenes. In the end, Aslan welcomes one of Tash's followers, who had followed with a pure heart, and good deeds, because Tash couldn't accept good actions, only evil, and Aslan could only accept good.

If I'm a little rambly I'm trying to cut back on caffeine, but I hope you get my point. Just because someone does something in the name of God, doesn't mean He's accepting of their actions.

  • Very interesting. Beter than nothing, I guess, but I don't think it will change anything.
