  • Since the day the stimulus passed his OVERALL trend has been downward in most polls. If that trend continues? One hit wonder like Carter... Carter 2.0.... The stealthier, more technologically advanced teleprompter dependent, ipod gifting giving, ipad signing, questionable internet campaign contribution version.. Nonetheless Carter 2.0... ;o)

  • Will this affect midterms?

    This was the question.

I do think it will. Several polls have him down consistantly. It depends on who and where the polling was done just how low the numbers go. People who watch many polls, and there are those who do, pay attention to the polls. I voted today. I didn't need a poll to help me make up my mind.

  • As I was told, REPEATEDLY, when Dubya's poll numbers were tanking....polls are not very reliable and are easy to skew towards the preferred results. Funny when a Dem goes against the polls he's ignoring the people but when Reps do it they are strong in their convictions.

  • Ugh. I can't stand when these studies just appear on the news and all around in the media.  It just seems so full of error.  The studies consist of sample populations, not the entire US pop.  It just doesn't make sense to obtain a fraction of the nation's opinions, then claim it as 'fact'.  I never got a phone call or filled out a survey.   If I did, maybe it would've been 68% have a negative opinion  ;-)
