is this romantic??

My husband and I don't have family by us so getting out alone doesn't really happen. We have a 17month old and I am also 26 weeks pregnant. I really want to do something "romantic" for him/us. So I was thinking of wed cleaning top to bottom and making a nice candlelight dinner for all of us. Yes that includes the highchair;) then after buggy goes to bed just the two of us a comfy blanket and a good movie....what do u think?? Lame?

  • Absolutely not! We've done that too. I think it's sweet. Save the dessert by candlelight for after your LO goes to bed!

  • What type of thing does your husband find/view as romantic?

If he thinks those things are romantic. I say it's a great idea.
If he doesn't, then there's a chance he may not view it as romantic or "get it" , even though that is your intention.. KWIM?

  • Sounds sweet and very romantic...maybe even a bed of roses and candles after a warm tub (or shower) together...and some sparkling water to give the illusion of champaign...
