Is this a nickname or a name?

I've kinda become fond of Milli (Mill-ee) ... Isn't it more of a nickname though? Other than Millicent is there another name to use Milli as the nickname??

Not sure if I'm in love with it yet... just thinking! lol

  • It's so cute. I used to have Millie the Model paper dolls when I was a kid. I really love it!

  • Milli could be a nickname for Millina sometimes spelled Milena

  • It does sound more like a nickname, but it doesn't matter. You could still use it as a first name. It's a cute name!

Camille, Milena, Emily, Amelia, Emeline, Camilla, or Milenda could all be names that could have Milli as a nickname.

  • I always think like a teacher, is it easy to spell or pronounce correctly? Does it have "bad" nickname or bad words that rhyme with it? Is it the same name as someone you cannot stand? If all these work out, go for it! :)

  • I knew a Mildred who went by Millie, but she was an old lady!

I say if you want to use it as a name, go ahead. Why bother naming a baby one name when you plan on using a nickname anyway? Friends of our's have an Abbey. Not Abigail but Abbey. They knew they'd call her Abbey all the time anyway, so they went with it.

Personally I think it is very cute :)
