Potty training

I'm potty training my two year old the past three days no accidents, but he want tell me when he has to go. He use to tell me when he had to have a bm but lately he wont even tell me that. What can i do?

  • Watch him for signals. His face will change, he will generally stop playing or whatever. Watch him very closely. Hopefully soon, he will verbalize it again. Constantly remind him to tell mommy when he has to go. Remind him a hundred times a day.

  • Keep taking him every hour or so. Eventually he will tell you.

  • It also helped with my daughter (2 years, 4m and fully trained) that when she DID go, I made a big deal about it. We'd giggle and high five and she got a sticker.- Her choice prize.

  • The positive reinforcement of high fives and some M&Ms seemed to work well with us as well!
