Is it 250k or 200k?

I believe I heard Obama say he wouldn't raise our tax unless we made 250K. This morning I heard 200k. What's the deal?

  • Yeah, I'm a little confused by this too. I've read over and over 250K, but on his commercial that I saw last night, he definately said 200K.

  • These are the facts as follows;
    No-one making $250,000 per year or less will see a tax increase at all.
    And anyone making $200,000 or less will receive a tax credit.
    There are accually 2 parts to this plan.
    I hope this helps you.
    Have a great day :)

  • Obiden said the other day it was $150,000. And when the Bush Tax Cuts expire in 2010--those making $42,000 will see a huge increase-------!

  • Obama wants the tax rate to go back to where it was before the Bush tax cuts which would be those under Clinton---and he wants to raise the inheritance tax to over 30%! And that is money and property that has already had the taxes paid on it many times over!!!

  • Actually, yesterday Biden said it was 150,000. So next time it'll probably be 100,000, until we get back down to 42,000 or whatever the original number was.

  • As the anony who posted the tax table--I didn't post the above comment about Change. I don't care what color he is--it is his radical leftist, socialist, beliefs that scare me for our country. It is his past and present associations with people who hate the USA and his training under Saul Alinsky methods that bothers me. I would love to see someone like Clarence Thomas run---but he is an African American that Obama doesn't like because he really is what Obama is NOT!
