I mean in times when everyone is struggling and hes the one that has said hes going to focus on the middle class, how can he justify this kind of excessive spending? I mean he can almost pay for the Wallstreet bailout for crying out loud. And what does he plan on doing with the money if he loses or if he wins? Maybe hes planning on spreading the wealth around huh? I guess with 300,000 million americans we all should be getting a 2,000,000 dollar paycheck with this fundraiser. I'm just dumbfounded by all of it, someone explain it better.

  • What about the celebrity's then? You think they should spread the wealth to with all the money they make? What about McCains money they raised or what they have already? HMmm

  • Try 660 million, and he is still a millionaire not spending any of his own money. Like I said earlier he should start handing out money to everyone that comes to his rallies. But alas, he isn't is he? It's ok for Obama to be wealthy and take all that money, lying about taking Federal Presidential Campaign funds, but we aren't supposed to have any. He can talk for 30 minutes unabated but Biden is banned. How does Michelle put up with his double standards? He walked the streets of Chicago TALKING while Michelle worked her ass off in an office all day and still took care of the kids.
A good portion of 63 million is not traceable and perceived to be from foreign donations which I think is illegal. The money trail will catch up with him if the Nazis don't first.

  • The McCain's worked for their money , earned it. Obama ASKED FOR IT.

Answer by akinbottom2 at 10:44 AM on Oct. 30, 2008

  • This is a fraud being committed against the American people. Obama has been busy collecting fraudulent funds from donors contributing less than $200. The reason he is encouraging these small donations is because he does not have to report them to the FEC. There are reports of a single donor providing Obama campaign funds well in excess of the campaign contributions limits. The reason for this is many small donations of less than $200 from the same contributor. There is already questions regarding over $35 million in illegal contributions.

  • Obama is also accepting funds from foreigners. This is illegal but the FEC is powerless to sttop it. Sure after the election there may be fines levied against Obama but it will be too late. Obama is change we can live without. Obama is a fraud that is buying the Presidency. One must wonder who is backing Obama that is going to reap the benefits. George Soros? Perhaps, perhaps not, but one thing is certain Obama owes someone and it is not the American people. Electing Obama will reveal the dark secrets behind the flim flam man.

  • McCain didn't earn any money, he married it.

(Just thought I'd confuse with you with the facts)

  • Are you saying McCain didn't raise any money for his CAMPAIGN?

Answer by Christinemg0813 at 10:46 AM on Oct. 30, 2008

  • Yes, Mccain hasn't earned one dime of income since he got married Wimsey. Are you slow? McCain would still have money even if he didn't marry it.
And Christine...the celebrities aren't the ones preaching MORE MONEY FOR THE WORKING CLASS! Redistribution of wealth! Less spending! Seriously. Wake up. Put the koolaid down.

  • My point is this election is coming at a time of extreme financial turmoil, how the american people can still think Obama is somehow going to pluck them from dispair is laughable. I really wish the voters would do alot more research on this guy hes just not being honest.
