baby food

I want to make my own baby food. What foods can can't a 6 month old have?

  • The only don'ts are citrus fruits, honey, egg white, peanut butter, milk, tree nuts, and wheat. Other than that just introduce one food at a time and stick with it for 3-5 days to make sure there are no allergies.

  • We mostly did veggies. I would make them in big batches and then freeze them in ice cube trays. Then thaw one cube at a time and then as they ate more I would thaw two cubes. We started with peas, sweet potatoes, green beans and then started applesauce. It is a lot easier than what people thought. And a food on the go was a banana if I could mash that anywhere with a fork.
