What do you feed your toddlers for lunch?

I am running out of ideas for my 17 month old's lunch each day. What is your typical lunch like?

  • Landon almost always eats a sandwich. Its 1 slice of whole grain brown rice bread, cut in half. Then he gets either Golden Pea Butter & Banana, and ant sandwich (golden pea butter & raisins), or 1/2 slice of lunchmeat and 1/2 slice of rice cheese. He gets either 4oz of organic juice or 4oz of potato milk with his lunch.

  • most of the time..chicken nuggets or know, I am an awful parent, but hey, my two are very picky eaters, so whatever they will eat as long as it is healthy, I give them....BTW..sometimes, we do mashed potatoes with chicken..or mac and cheese...

  • Dawson will eat anything. He loves veggies and fruit. I always include a veg or fruit and then give him a sandwich. He also loves fishsticks. Grilled Cheese sandwiches.

  • My son usually eats leftovers (if there are any) from dinner the night before. If I want something quick, he likes grilled cheese or tuna fish. If we are going to be out shopping or not home at lunch time, I take him a PB&J and a banana. I always make sure he has at least one fruit or one veggie with each meal.
