does the media today use "shame" against the prosperous to get their agendas going? Do they realize what doing that does?

Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, Everlasting joy will be theirs. Isaiah 61:7
Could it be true? Is this why the income gap is getting wider?

  • I think I have to agree with tootoobusy, most of the women on here lack the intelligence level to grasp what you are talking about. Just look at the answers you have received already.

I do think this contributes a lot to the gap between the "haves" and the "have nots." The more the "nots" want what belongs to the "haves" the more determined the "haves" are to keep what they have earned...the divide gets wider.

    I like Isaiah!

  • There are a couple of political ads on right now that try to discredit the person by referrering to them as a millionaire - such and such. Like being a millionaire is a bad thing. The gap is getting larger because the government gives no incentive to get out there and work hard . Why do it when they will give you money..... They have over the last few years rewarded those who don't work hard.

  • Why work hard and be prosperous yourself when the government can just take from those who have and give it to you without you having to lift a finger!

Very good post OP and as you can see there are those that will ignore that they're falling for it to the point of being insulting, but hey that's the way it works around here.

  • The US is headed to third world status, a few (politicians,BB owners, union officials) controlling and owning everything while the vast majority have nothing. Most here are NOT among the elite, protected group. Educate yourselves. Stop voting for and endorsing candidates who govern and legislate for the protected special interest groups.

  • MBG, one you can NOT be on welfare for 10 years without a mental or physical illness preventing you from working. Also those free cell phones are great for a single mo with kids in school who can not afford a land lie. Or the person looking for a job to have a phone to be contacted by a hopeful employer. Really unless you have been poor you do not know!
