Who gets them? What are they caused by? Is it common for pregnant women?

  • it can be anixety my 10 year old had them from anixety it could also be hormones

  • yes it is very common for pregnant women to have hot flashes, and with all the hormones raging around your body no wonder you have hot flashes. If it really bothers you ask your OBGYN at the next visit or call his nurse and ask before the next apt.

  • oh God yes! it's the hormone levels in your body - I cont. to get them and still do and Im almost a year out of giving birth...
