OBGYN vs Midwife.. or what are your plans

Just found out we are due with number 3 in July of 2011. I am only a little over 4 weeks, but I am a planner. haha

For my first two children, we had a family doctor (who also did obgyn). But he no longer takes my insurance, but we have found another office that will. You can either choose an OB or a Midwife or an ARNP.

Anyone have any experience with a midwife or arnp? If so, what do you reccommend?

  • I would interview them and choose the one that seemed most likely to meet my needs during my pregnancy. The person and their views on pregnancy and childbirth are more important to me than a title.
