Do you watch political commercials-or skip through them?

Politicians spend a lot of money on tv commercials, especially just before election day, but I'm wondering how much of this is mis-spent because many people like myself may use their DVR and fast forward through them. Also with early voting-many have already made their decision. What do you think?

  • There are few things that annoy me more than the barrage of political ads that come with every election.

I think what sickens me most about it is knowing that too many people will be taken in by the BS.

If I had my way, everyone would be required to pass a current events exam before they were allowed to vote. Too many ignorant people make stupid decisions based on misinformation and/or hype -- and we all have to live with the results of their ignorance.

    I HATE it!!!! >:-(

  • i mute the tv, or walk out of the room. most of the time, they will air opposing candidates back2back...LOL!. its enough time to get a fresh diet dr. pepper, and take a potty break, before my real entertainment comes back on the air.

  • I hit the MUTE button. I can't wait until they are done.

  • Skip or mute. I made up my mind a while ago, and I think the negative attacks on each other is classless. I know it happens every election, but why cant one of them just say "I choose to stick to what I stand for, not what my opponent has done wrong". Shwo me who you are, not why your opponent is awful.

  • I don't have a DVR, but I don't pay attention to the commercials. Most of them disgust me more than anything. They all claim the other side is lying or doing this or that, when I know that they're all politicians and all doing the same things. I'll get reliable information elsewhere.

  • I watch them the first or second time to see what they have to say, but after that I tune them out or skip them.

  • We are military stationed in a state that we are not legal residents of, so we totally skip over any "local" commercials since we can't vote here.

  • I don't DVR because I don't really watch much tv. If they come on while I am watching I am fairly versed in ignoring them. Some are funny though. They really don't bother me that much. The phone calls do though.
