  • A woman who is 60 or over can not have a child on their own. It's selfish in my opinion since they very well could be dead by the time the child is 20 years old.

  • i think that is wrong.....your child is basically doomed to be your caretaker when they should be enjoying their life as a young adult. i think it is very selfish too and they are not thinking about the child's future.

  • I think over 60 is way too old to be having children. There are so many risks involved even in women over 35, i couldnt even imagine the kind of risks with a women over 60. And that I do see how they could have the energy to keep up with a toddler and what if they got sick and died before their child even graduated from high school. I guess it could it have its benefits because they should be well established and finacially stable at that time in their life but over all I think it is selfish thing to do.

  • IMO, menopause is nature's way of saying you're done.

There's so many health issues the mother has to deal with at that age. Even if she's healthy now, there's growing risks of dementia, stroke, hearing and eye sight loss, arthritis, and many other health issues that so many seniors experience. What will the mother's health be like when the child becomes a teen or young adult?

    Not a good decision.

  • Irresponsible and selfish.

  • Irresponsible, selfish, dangerous to the health of the baby and the mother. That baby will be having to take care of their parent before they're out of their teens.
