  • Here's an easy one:
    Crock pot Salsa Chicken
    4 to 6 chicken breasts
    32 oz. salsa (2 16 oz. jars)
1 15 oz. can corn, drained
1 16 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed
Lay chicken pieces in bottom of crock pot. Top with rest of ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until chicken is done. Serve with rice, or with flour tortillas, sour cream, black olives, tortilla chips, etc.

  • I make all sorts of stuff in the crockpot, chilis, stews, roasts, soups, apple butter. If you are making a roast or pork roast it needs to be cooked on low so the meat stays tender. They have a Crockpot Moms group on here that has tons of recipes if you want to check it out

  • I love doing potroast in mine and its super easy....

Six or seven red potato's cut in half (place in bottom of crockpot)
Roast meat (season with seasoning salt and pepper then place or top of potato's)
Carrots and one onion diced, put on top of everything else.
1/2 cup of water and let cook for 6 hours.
