  • I'd allow one hour if she were able to pay attention. But she doesn't so she gets none.

  • I suppose the only tv time they have is the hour before bed. Otherwise we are busy with other things.

  • We don't have a set time limit, but if they want to watch TV they have to do an equivalent amount of chores.

  • This is such a controversial subject among parents. I have had moms tell me their kids watch no tv, yet their child knows every nickolodean/disney character on tv. My kids watched as much tv as they wanted (pbs - sesame street, word world, etc...), they would watch their favorite show and then go and play. Somedays they watched more and somedays the tv was never on. The only shows I would not let them watch were violent ones with guns/killing etc...the same for video games (no shooting/guns/violence).

  • None. We're waiting till she's at least 5. It works great for us, and she's almost 3 now.

  • Oh, and Tess does know a lot of the tv characters, but only from books at the daycare. She's a big Dora fan. lol.

  • My 11 year old is not a big TV watcher - so we don't have to set limits.
