do you think this is smart to teach your little girl while growing?

Like girls being girls and always wanting approval from others. Do you think it would be smart to teach them when they accomplish something, to instead of saying good job or yay! ask them how they feel they did? What do you think? :)

  • I really think it depends on the age. I think small children need to hear that they did a good job.

  • Why not both? Tell her "I think you did a fantastic job. How do you feel about how you did?"

  • yep, do both. it might teach her that what others think isnt everything, while it does still matter, that she should be happy with what she does, even if others dont like it.
