waht do any of you do to get rid of low back pain?

  • Stretching and strengthening of the back will do wonders. Do any kind of "core" training that will both strengthen the back and abs. Also yoga and pilates may help as well. Definitely go see a Doctor first to make sure your back pain won't be exacerbated by doing those exercises.

  • heating pad helps. Icy Hot sometimes. stretching, ibuprofen or tylenol.

  • Drugs. My lower back pain is sometimes unbearable. Apparently I have muscle spasms and minor scoliosis. Heat helps a bit sometimes as well as extremely firm massage to the area. My doc is trying me on different pain killers but it's hard to find one strong enough that doesn't make me drowsy.

  • I went to physical therapy for my back issues. the stretching exercises do work.  And pain meds.

  • i see my chiropractor weekly. not only are the adjustments good for prenting low back pain, but they are good for overall health as well!

  • Hot shower & anti inflammatories.... also watch physical activity until the pain goes away
