What do you think of a person who sees a memorial to a young person who died

and states how beautiful, her face looks angelic. Weird or just sad.

  • Not much. They are stating an opinion and there is nothing wrong with that especially when its obviously meant as a compliment.

  • Neither... Memorials are meant to inspire those kinds of thoughts.

  • Neither, the whole point of a memorial service is to remember a person as they were. It was a sweet thing to say, probably very heartfelt as well.

  • Neither... it just seems like a comment that people make, like something along the lines of 'She looks so peaceful.'

  • I would actually prefer to hear stuff like this. And I am sure that was part of the point of the memorial in the first place.

  • Sad...it is a sad thing to see any memorial let alone one of a young child. I dont see how anyone can say that it is weird...If someone does think that it is weird then they never lost a young child or very young family member.

  • well, i'd rather them say someone looks 'angelic' than to comment on their makeup or clothing, or to say, ''ahh, they look like they're sleeping.'' OF COURSE, THEY ARE 'SLEEPING'!!
