First time baker! Needs advice.

Im making a mini-cake for DD for her bday party (the rest of us will eat a bigger bought cake).....
Ive read to retain moisture & help with decorating you should put the cake in the FREEZER? Is this right?
Do you put it in the FREEZER? or just the refigerator part?
How long should it stay(atleaste) And whats the longest it should stay in there before decorating?

Is there a good website anyone knows for decorating tips? or anything else for a newbie like me? *Oh and any other advice is welcome!*

  • Yes I always let it cool and then put it in the feezer like the night before and then get up and frost early that morning so it will all thaw and they turn out very very moist!!!
