  • My Mom did not at all. She is so far from being girly it is not even funny. I have learned by trial and error and something I have still not learned at 28 and probably never will.

  • Trial and error...she never taught me a darn thing.

  • Nope, I learned by trial and error. My mom had already had 4 kids and the youngest was 10 when I came along. I think she was worn out by then so I spent most of my time with my dad working on tractors and 'boy' stuff.

  • Thats one of the things I can say my mother DID teach me. :)

  • No---she was kind of uninvolved with the girly stuff. SHe was basically not that interested. I figured it out all by myself. :-)

  • my mom never taught me or my sister how to do girly things. It was all trial and error for me, but she always had her hair and nails done. But I am proud to say I figured it out lol ;)

  • She tried, she is such a girly girl. But it did not work for me, I don't wear makeup and love sweats.

  • Not with me. She wanted a boy when she was pregnant with me. I had to learn a lot on my own. Of course, she died when I was 14, but growing up she always wanted me to have short hair and not wear dresses and be involved in sports.
