  • nope... i thank everyone for my baby boy b/c he can't talk yet but for my dd i let her thank everyone after she opens gifts

  • nope..she says thank you after she opens each well as when her friends leave the party she says thanks for coming etc when she hands out her gift bags to everyone

  • When the kids are young, it's nice to, since they don't really do the thank you part themselves yet. Once they're a little older, you don't need to.

  • We always send thank you cards for any kind of gifts we receive, Birthday, Christmas or whatever. I have always taught my kids to do it too. It's just plain rude not to.

  • Yes. I think it teaches our son good manners. He decorates a blank card, and we include a photo of him opening the gift.
