Food on vacation

Do you eat out every meal?
Make your own lunches?
Partake of the hotels offered breakfast?

Or do you make all your food yourself?
What's your vaca eating plan?

  • usually breakfast at the hotel, if were there for a week or longer (than we're usually in a condo or larger suite) than we pick up stuff to make for lunch and eat out only for dinner

  • We stay at a specific hotel so we can get the free breakfast. It's self-serve, but it's ALOT easier than getting everyone dressed and out to another restaurant. When we travel in nicer weather, we do at least one picnic - usually buy the food for it at the grocery store nearby then go to the park. We frequently eat in restaurants and it sucks.

  • I always eat the hotel breakfast - I always stay at Hampton Inn, which has quite a variety (for free) every morning. Lunch and dinner out, unless we have a decent setup (mini fridge in the room and a nice place to eat) and can eat leftover lunch for dinner.
