Starfruit is really versatile. You can eat it fresh, you can cook it or you can juice it. My kids loved the juice when we lived in Hawaii. I like it raw. It is really high in Vit.C and fiber. An avergage size starfruit is less than 50 calories, so it is perfect for dieting. My personal preference..is just sliced fresh. Make sure to wash them well because you eat the flesh. They are available year round, unlike other fruits because of their indiginous roots in Southeast Asia.
